1829 Apprenticed in the shop of William S. and John Pendleton, Boston lithographers

c. 1845 Entered partnership with Fitz Henry Lane, producing lithographs of Lane’s marine scenes

1846 First exhibited at the Boston Athenaeum

1851 First sketching trip to the White Mountains

1863 Exhibited at the Boston Art Club

1875 Exhibited at Williams and Everett Gallery, Boston

1907 Died in Cambridge, Massachusetts
