1858 First exhibited at the Boston Athenaeum; first known to have exhibited White Mountain scenes

1858–1875 Made several sketching trips in the White Mountains

1859 Elected an Associate of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts

1860 Exhibited at the National Academy of Design

1881 First exhibited at the Boston Art Club

1910 Died in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
